The Berliner Volksfestsommer runs through August 2 and marks its 63rd edition this year on the fairground at Kurt-Schumacher-Damm 207. Around 60 rides, several beer gardens and countless food stands await visitors — including on the weekend of July 25 and 26.
Descended from the old German-French funfair, it remains Berlin's biggest fair to this day. If you want roller coasters, ring toss and a big wheel rather than a curated programme, this is where to find it in full force. Berliner Volksfestsommer runs daily well into August.
Treptower Park Fest: street food and live music right on the Spree
The Treptower Park Fest is the summer edition of the annual festival series run by Hauptstadt Kultur, framed by Treptower Hafen, the rose garden and Haus Zenner. From July 24 to 26, three days of street food, live music, DJ sets, fairground rides and a children's programme unfold right on the Spree, in Treptow-Köpenick.
Entry is free, and the setting is hard to beat. If you're still undecided what to do on Sunday afternoon, the riverbank offers an easy answer. Treptower Park Fest wraps up on Sunday evening, July 26.
Wine Market at the Späth Vineyard: German winemakers in a 300-year-old tree nursery
The Späth tree nurseries in Berlin-Baumschulenweg are among the oldest in Germany, founded in 1720. Once a year, the grounds open as a vineyard: from July 24 to 26, family-run German wineries pour their wines for three days, alongside live music, a guesthouse and a beer garden.

Gaswerk Music Days: five nights between krautrock, dub and African sound
Gaswerk Music Days takes over the former gasworks settlement on Blockdammweg in Lichtenberg-Karlshorst across two consecutive festival weekends, six days and more than 30 acts. Jubilee Festival at HALLE Tanzbühne: 30 years of cie. toula limnaios close on July 25
Dance company cie. toula limnaios marks thirty years in 2026 and closes its eight-week jubilee festival this Saturday at HALLE Tanzbühne Berlin in Prenzlauer Berg. The series reconstructed key pieces from three decades of work, from le temps d'après (1997) to the duet shifted realities (2019).
If you want to see contemporary dance away from the big houses, this is the last chance to catch this retrospective. After that, the arc closes. Jubilee Festival at HALLE Tanzbühne stages its closing performance on July 25.
Karolinenhof Summer Festival: "1001 Nights" in Berlin's southernmost corner
The summer festival of the Karolinenhof housing cooperative is a classic neighbourhood party in Schmöckwitz, between the Langer See lake and the woods. Around 50 cooperative tenants organise a festival with a changing theme every year — for 2026, it's "1001 Nights."
On Saturday, July 25, the small settlement turns into an oriental-style garden, with stalls, music and shared cooking. If you want to see Berlin at its most village-like, far from the inner-city crowds, this is the place. Karolinenhof Summer Festival runs for this one day only.
Berlin Kizzes Festival: tenth edition for kizomba, semba and urban kiz
Five days of kizomba, semba and urban kiz inside the Kulturbrauerei's industrial halls: from July 23 to 27, the Berlin Kizzes Festival reaches its 10th edition. Workshops with international teachers by day, big parties with DJs from the global scene by night.
That makes it one of the longest-running festivals of its genre in Germany. Over the weekend, social dance floors stay open deep into the night. Berlin Kizzes Festival continues through Saturday and Sunday.
International Organ Summer at the Memorial Church: a Saturday recital on Breitscheidplatz
Every Saturday in July and August at 6pm, the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church opens its doors for a special listening experience. Renowned organists play the church's mighty Schuke organ, with around 6,000 pipes, across a programme spanning Bach, Romantic works and contemporary commissions.
July 25 brings another recital, right in the middle of City West. If you want a quiet close to a loud Pride Saturday, this is where to find it. Organ Summer at the Memorial Church runs through the end of August.
Summer in the Park: the Körnerpark series closes its season on July 26
Four Sundays in July, always at 6pm, on the terrace in front of the gallery in Körnerpark: the "Summer in the Park" concert series ranks among Berlin's oldest open-air classics. For more than 35 years, the Neukölln district office has brought jazz, rock, classical, flamenco and world music into one of the city's prettiest parks.
On July 26, the series plays its last concert of the season. Entry is free, no registration needed — just bring a picnic blanket. Summer in the Park says goodbye with this date until 2027.
European Days of Culture, Tyrol: the MEK opens its Tyrol programme
The European Days of Culture at the Museum of European Cultures dedicates itself to one European region each year. The 22nd edition puts the spotlight on Tyrol: from July 26 to August 26, the MEK in Berlin-Dahlem combines concerts, films, readings, talks and tastings of Tyrolean cuisine.
