Karolinenhof on Langer See

Karolinenhof is a small residential settlement in Schmöckwitz, Berlin's southernmost district. The area lies between forest and water — Langer See and the Dahme lake chain characterize the surroundings — it has a distinctly village-like character and is predominantly inhabited by owners of a cooperative settlement. The Siedlungsgenossenschaft Karolinenhof e.G. was founded in 2009 after taking over the property and comprises approx. 50 leaseholders.

The Cooperative Festival

The annual summer festival is a classic cooperative format: members organize the festival themselves, each year under a changing theme.
