Pörnbach — Village between Donaumoos and Hallertau
Pörnbach is a community of 2,500 souls in the Upper Bavarian district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm (state of Bavaria). Its location between the Donaumoos to the north and the Hallertau (the world's largest hop-growing region) to the south makes the village a typical Upper Bavarian mixed community — agriculture, traditional inns, a vibrant club structure.
VfB Pörnbach as Organizer
VfB Pörnbach is the central sports club of the community, with football and several other sections. Its annual wine festival in July is one of its most important social events — wine served at the club house, run by club members who take turns behind the bar for a summer evening.

By car via the A9 exit Pfaffenhofen or Manching. The sports club house is located at Raiffeisenstraße 13, on the outskirts of the village. Parking spaces are available around the club grounds.
