Pörnbach Wine Festival 2025 — Review

As every year, VfB Pörnbach hosted its wine festival at the sports club house in 2025. Club members took care of the wine service and catering for one summer evening, while villagers and guests from neighboring towns came to enjoy a relaxed get-together.

The concept deliberately remained simple, as in previous years: selected wines, small dishes, no live music spectacles — a Bavarian variation of the wine festival, which does not claim to be a Mosel or Palatinate wine festival, but has found its own form. Club festival and wine combine to create a relaxed summer evening that fosters community life on the edge of the Donaumoos.
