Getting to Kampen

By train (Marschbahn) to Westerland (3h from Hamburg), then take bus 102 or 103 to Kampen (10 min). By car, only via the Hindenburgdamm (Sylt-Shuttle from Niebüll).

For nearly three decades, the Kampen Tourist Service has been inviting female and male authors and public figures to the Kaamp-Hüs on the island of Sylt — the former home of the Kampen mayor, now a central cultural venue.
