Overview

The 26th edition of the Kampen Literary Summer took place from May to September 2025 at the Kaamp-Hüs. As usual, the program featured a broad mix of novel literature, non-fiction books, political memoirs, and socio-political discussions. Readings were held at 8 PM, advance tickets €21. The event confirms itself year after year as an important summer date for the German literary scene on Sylt.

2025 Season

The 26th edition in 2025 continued the festival's proven mix. Readings and discussions with prominent female and male authors and personalities filled the Kaamp-Hüs throughout the summer. The response once again confirmed the festival's position as the most important literary event on the island of Sylt — a key meeting point for locals, island guests, and literature fans from all over Germany.
