Gourmet Walk on Sylt

The Kampener Weinpfad is one of Sylt's special culinary events and has been a firm fixture in Sylt's gastronomy since 2011. The 12th edition takes place in 2026 – a gourmet walk through the island village of Kampen, where you wander between six top restaurants and a final location. At each station, international top vintners present two specific wines, combined with matching small dishes from the Sylt gastronomy elite.

Concept and Stations

The path connects the following addresses:

1. Kaamp-Hüs – Starting point with aperitif (6 PM)
2. Gogärtchen – famous Sylt beach address
3. Manne Pahl – Sylt classic
4. Hotel Rungholt – top gastronomy on Sylt
5. Henry's – Sylt cultural address
6. Kaamp Meren – fine dining
7. Dorfkrug Kampen – finale with cheese and desserts (from 9:30 PM)

Guests navigate through Kampen independently, at their own pace from one station to the next. At each station, vintners present their wines and restaurateurs the matching bite.

Organizer: Stefan Gerner (WIP Weinimport)

Initiator and organizer is Stefan Gerner from WIP Weinimport in Tinnum (Sylt). His idea of combining international top vintners with Sylt gastronomy in one evening has become a fixed date in the Sylt season since 2011. Tickets are available in limited quantities only and are sold through the participating restaurants, the Kampen Tourist Service, and WIP Weinimport.

Kampen is one of Sylt's most famous island villages – renowned for its traditional thatched-roof houses, its beach location, and the combination of nature park and upscale gastronomy. The island of Sylt belongs to the district of Nordfriesland in the state of Schleswig-Holstein. The wine path takes place in spring, just as the season begins and restaurants update their menus.
