On June 28 and 29, 2026, the Rathausplatz (town hall square) in Hermaringen will transform into the weekend's festival centre: The traditional Dorffest (village festival) invites residents, clubs, and guests from across the Brenz Valley on the second-to-last weekend in June for a mix of live music, Swabian culinary delights, and conviviality. Saturday will focus on the ceremonial keg tapping and a dance evening, while Sunday will feature an ecumenical service, a musical brunch, and a family afternoon with a children's programme. For Hermaringen's approximately 2,200 inhabitants, the Dorffest is one of the social highlights of the year in the Heidenheim district.

From June 28 to 29, 2026, the municipality of Hermaringen, together with local clubs, invites you to the annual Dorffest on the Rathausplatz. The programme combines classic Saturday evening festival operations with the traditional Sunday family day.

The Heidenheimer Zeitung announces the usual road closures in the town centre for 2026, as the festival area extends beyond the Rathausplatz to include adjacent streets. Clubs, the fire brigade, and church communities are organising the festival together.

Getting There

Train: Brenzbahn line from Aalen or Ulm, stop Hermaringen (in the village). From there, a few minutes' walk to the Rathausplatz.
Car: B19 from Heidenheim towards Giengen, exit Hermaringen. During the Dorffest, some streets in the town centre will be closed — please follow the signs.
