Overview

On the last weekend of June 2025, the traditional Hermaringen Dorffest took place on the Rathausplatz. Clubs, the fire brigade, and church communities jointly organised a weekend with ceremonial keg tapping, a dance evening, and Sunday's family programme — a firm fixture in the event calendar of the small Brenz Valley municipality in the Heidenheim district.

Dorffest 2025 — Community in a festive mood

The Hermaringen Dorffest 2025 followed the tried-and-tested format: Saturday, ceremonial keg tapping and dance evening; Sunday, ecumenical service, musical brunch, and family programme in the afternoon. As every year, the local clubs — music associations, sports clubs, the fire brigade, and church communities — pooled their volunteer efforts to serve the approximately 2,200 inhabitants and their guests for two days in the festival area around the Rathausplatz.

The 2025 Dorffest saw road closures in the town centre and the usual large turnout of club stalls offering bratwurst, Swabian specialities, cakes, and drinks. Admission was free — families and guests from all over the Brenz Valley region attended.
