About Allershausen Volksfest

The Volksfest Allershausen is the largest summer celebration in the Upper Bavarian municipality in the Freising district. Four days of festivities from July 23rd to 26th, 2026, will transform the festival grounds into a classic Bavarian Volksfest with a festival tent, wine tent, bar, live music, a day for clubs and businesses on Thursday, the mayor's beer tapping ceremony at 7 PM, and an ecumenical festival service on Sunday. Organized by the Volksfestgesellschaft Allershausen with local clubs.

From Thursday, July 23rd, to Sunday, July 26th, 2026, the Volksfest Allershausen will take place. Highlights include: Day of clubs and businesses on Thursday with the mayor's beer tapping ceremony at 7 PM, Manjana festival evening on Friday, senior and family afternoon on Saturday with zruck zu Dir in the evening, ecumenical festival service and Frühschoppen on Sunday. Four days of festivities with festival tent, wine tent, and bar.

The 2026 Volksfest Allershausen opens on Thursday, July 23rd, as the "Day of Clubs and Businesses." The Allershausener Blaskapelle kicks off the music, followed by the traditional beer tapping ceremony by the mayor at 7:00 PM. The festival tent, wine tent, and bar open their doors.

Friday, July 24th: Grand festival evening starting at 7:30 PM with the party band Manjana (» HAPPY MUSIC FOR HAPPY PEOPLE «). Saturday, July 25th: Senior and family afternoon starting at 1 PM with a children's program and reduced carousel prices, followed in the evening by the party band »zruck zu Dir!« in the festival tent. Sunday, July 26th: Ecumenical festival service at 10:30 AM, followed by a Frühschoppen with folk music and the festival wind-down with the Hohenkammer Blaskapelle until 9 PM.

Getting There

Allershausen is located directly on the A9 (Munich–Nuremberg) motorway, Allershausen exit. By train, take the S1 line from Munich Hbf to Freising, then bus 600 to Allershausen (approx. 30-minute bus ride). Parking is available at the festival grounds and in the town center.

Free admission to the festival grounds and festival tent. Rides and food stalls are priced according to Volksfest standards, draft festival beer at usual prices. Table reservations in the festival tent via email to [email protected] (recommended for the main evening events).

Tips

Friday evening (Manjana) and Saturday evening (zruck zu Dir!) are the most popular dates — table reservations are highly recommended. The Sunday Frühschoppen with folk music is considerably quieter and ideal for families. The bar is open from Thursday to Saturday, mainly of interest to the younger generation.

This multi-format offering is typical for medium-sized Upper Bavarian Volksfeste and provides the right atmosphere for every visitor.

Allershausen and the Ampertal Valley

Allershausen is located in the Ampertal valley, the lowlands of the Amper river, which flows into the Isar further downstream. Geographically, it's in the transition zone between Upper and Lower Bavaria, but culturally it is clearly Upper Bavarian. Visitors to the Volksfest can combine their day with a walk along the Amper, a trip to the nearby Weihenstephan Abbey in Freising, or a day trip to Munich.
