Village festival for children on the Bavarian Lake Constance
The Bodolz Children's Festival is the most important summer festival for families in the municipality of Bodolz in the Swabian district of Lindau in Bavaria, idyllically located on the Bavarian Lake Constance. For over 20 years, the festival has been a special experience for the children of the village and attracts numerous families from the surrounding area.
The highlight is the traditional festival parade of the children through the village center. Afterwards, numerous game stations transform the village center into a large playground: with around 250 participating children, Bodolz becomes one big family for an afternoon. The festival is held under the motto 'Playing together – being there for each other'.
Organized by the municipality of Bodolz with the support of many volunteers, the Children's Festival is much more than just an afternoon of games: it is a living symbol of the togetherness of the village community. Parents, grandparents, and guests come together and spend a joyful afternoon.

The Bodolz Children's Festival 2026 will be celebrated on Saturday, June 27, 2026, starting at 2 p.m. in the center of Bodolz. The traditional festival parade of the children through the village will kick things off, followed by numerous game stations transforming the village center into a large playground. Under the motto 'Playing together – being there for each other', around 250 children and their families will spend a joyful afternoon. The festival is organized by the municipality of Bodolz with the support of many volunteers.
The Children's Festival is free and open to all. Food and drinks are available on site.
Bodolz is located in the Lindau district on the Bavarian Lake Constance, accessible via the B31 / regional roads from Lindau. Parking available in the village center.
