Streetfood meets Handmade

The Tibarg Streetfoodmarket – combined with the Handmademarkt – has been a regular event in Niendorf's early summer since 2019. On a Saturday at the end of May, Hamburg's street food scene takes over the Tibarg pedestrian zone over a stretch of about 400 meters, from Tibarg Center in the north down to Niendorfer Marktplatz. Around 35 stalls share the axis, complemented by a live stage.

Culinary Spectrum

On the food truck side, the spectrum ranges from Mexican tacos to healthy bowls, classic burgers, Nordic fish specialties, Persian-inspired dishes, North African cuisine, to Asian-American fusion. Drink stands with craft beer, specialty coffee, and sweet temptations are also available.

Handmade Market in Parallel

In parallel, around 35 other stalls present handmade products – jewelry, bags, home accessories, small furniture, art, and prints, made by Hamburg designers. The mix of enjoyment and handicrafts is what gives the event its charm.

Singer-Songwriters on Stage

Four Hamburg singer-songwriters perform on the live stage every 75 minutes – with free admission, accessible to all. Acoustic sets that fit the relaxed atmosphere at Tibarg.
