Two days of architecture you can touch: Once a year, the Hamburg Chamber of Architects opens the doors of over 50 firms, authorities, and companies for guided tours, exhibitions, and showcases. Weekend of Open Architecture

The Tag der Architektur 2026 in Hamburg takes place on the last weekend of June. Over 50 architecture firms, urban planning authorities, chambers of engineers, and construction companies are participating in the decentralised programme. Architecture as a Public Good

The Tag der Architektur (Architecture Day) is a nationwide initiative of the Chambers of Architects. The Hamburg edition – organised by the Hamburg Chamber of Architects together with the Hamburg Chamber of Engineers-Building – presents a decentralised programme of tours, exhibitions, and lectures every year at the end of June. Over 50 architectural firms, urban planning authorities, construction companies, and owner families open their doors for a weekend.

What to Expect

Classic programme items include guided tours of special new buildings and renovations (mostly without registration required), urban planning presentations at district offices, a Young Architecture exhibition under the series title PERSPEKTIVEN, and the PROJEKTOR format for young people. In addition, there are thematic city walks with architectural historians and urban sociologists (registration required).
