Studifestival Siegen — the student summer highlight

Anyone studying or living in Siegerland has long had the last Friday in June 2026 marked in red on their calendar: On June 26, 2026, the 4th edition of the Studifestival Siegen will take place in the Siegerlandhalle. Originating from an initiative by students at the University of Siegen, the festival has developed into the city's major musical event since 2023 — a stage where the most important acts of the German-speaking pop, rap, and electronic scene come together.

2026 Lineup — the crème de la crème of the German pop and rap scene

The 2026 lineup combines headliners and emerging talents:

The programming thus covers the entire spectrum that the student audience listens to in 2026: German-language rap, indie-pop, melodic singer-songwriters, and electronic crossover sounds.

Siegerlandhalle as the Venue

The Siegerlandhalle on Koblenzer Straße is the city's largest event venue — conference center, concert hall, and student festival all in one. With its combination of a large main hall and foyer, it is ideally suited for an indoor festival with several thousand visitors. Admission is at 4:00 PM, the musical program starts about an hour later and runs until 11:45 PM.

Student Discount and Fair Tickets

Despite the name, the organizers explicitly emphasize: the Studifestival is *not* limited to students — everyone is welcome. However, students and pupils receive a discounted rate: the student/pupil ticket starts at €30 (incl. all fees) in advance. Regular tickets are slightly more expensive. Advance sales run online and at the University of Siegen's cafeterias (April 14 and 15).

House Rules and Security

Clear rules ensure a smooth process: No bags larger than DIN A4, no glass bottles, no professional cameras, no crowdsurfing. Youths under 14 only with parental accompaniment; between 16 and 17, the curfew is 11:30 PM (German Youth Protection Act). Over 18s have no restrictions.

Siegen — University City in the Siegerland

With around 100,000 inhabitants, Siegen is the largest city in the Siegerland region and home to the University of Siegen (around 14,000 students). The Studifestival is the musical calling card of this student culture — a festival that has grown out of the university and carries the city's student lifestyle into the region. In 2026, it features the most extensive artist list to date and a higher security standard.
