The Straßenweinfest Sommerhausen is one of the most popular wine festivals in the Franconian wine region. The festival begins on Saturday afternoon with a festive opening by the Sommerhausen Wine Princess. Only Sommerhausen wines are served at the stands along the alleys, accompanied by classic Franconian specialties:
