Warberg on the Elm Ridge

Warberg is located on the western slope of the Elm ridge in the southwestern Helmstedt district and is a member community of the Nord-Elm municipality. The small community with the well-known Warberg Water Castle maintains a lively club life, in which the Schützenverein plays a central role.

Schützenverein Warberg

The Schützenverein Warberg is the organizer of the Schützenfest and a pillar of village life. Men and women of all generations are involved in the club. The annual organization of the Schützenfest is supported by volunteers and is the club's biggest achievement of the year.

King's Shoot and King's Proclamation

The highlight of every Schützenfest is the King's Shoot. The best shot crowns the new Shooting King, who, with his court, leads the club's social life for a year. The festive King's Proclamation is one of the emotional highlights of the festival weekend.

Parade through Warberg

The traditional parade leads through the streets of Warberg. Marksmen in uniform, marching bands, music groups, friendly clubs, and the fire brigade march through the decorated village with music. Residents decorate houses and front gardens — the parade is the visual highlight of the weekend.

Marquee and Dance Evenings

The evening dance and program events take place in the marquee. With a live band or DJ, King's Dance, and catering, the social gathering becomes a highlight. The marquee is a meeting point for young and old.

Morning Pint and Family Day

Sunday morning features the morning pint with brass music. Sunday afternoon is family-oriented: children's shoot, bouncy castle, games, catering. The Schützenfest ends on Sunday afternoon with a convivial conclusion.
