Ninja Warrior Feeling on Weißenstädter See

In the middle of the Fichtelgebirge, one of Bavaria's most famous low mountain ranges, lies Weißenstädter See – an artificially created natural bathing lake at the foot of the Schneeberg (1,051 m). Directly on the shore is the Siebenquell GesundZeitResort, a modern wellness and thermal spa resort that has hosted the Aqua Games here every summer since 2018. A floating obstacle course (Wibit course) is set up on the lake, where participants cross beams, climb through tunnels, tackle trampolines and swing ropes, and often fall into the water at the end.

Format: Family, Team, Party

Since its premiere in 2018, the festival format has followed the same well-proven scheme:

• Day 1 (Families): open course for everyone from approx. 8 years old. Entrance fee for a limited time on the course.
• Day 2 (Families): ditto, with additional animations and show formats.
• Day 3 (Team): Team competition for companies, clubs, and groups of friends. Pre-registration required, flat rate per person.
• Evening: After-show party in the Siebenquell Wasserwelt with DJ and live acts (admission for team participants included in the registration fee).

Siebenquell as Host

The Siebenquell GesundZeitResort is one of the most ambitious wellness resorts in northern Bavaria. It combines a thermal spa, sauna world, wellness hotel, and restaurant under one roof and utilizes the healing springs around Weißenstadt. The Aqua Games are the resort's most prominent summer event and attract guests from all over the Fichtelgebirge, Upper Franconia, and the Upper Palatinate. The direct access from the resort to the lake makes the event logistics particularly elegant – changing rooms, showers, and catering are just a few steps away.

Weißenstadt – Small Town with a Big Thermal Spa

With around 3,000 inhabitants, Weißenstadt is a very small town in Upper Franconia in the district of Wunsiedel im Fichtelgebirge, but it has regional appeal due to its thermal spa, lake, and hiking opportunities. It is located between Bayreuth and the Czech border, just a few kilometers from the Schneeberg, the highest mountain in the Fichtelgebirge.
