The musical program evolves throughout the evening: it begins with relaxed saxophone and house sounds, transitions into a piano house set at dusk, and builds up with DJs from the Munich nightlife scene. Regional artists, a light show, and a final groove set round off the program.
Regional Gastronomy
The festival emphasizes regional providers. Drinks are supplied by, among others, Club Hashtag and Santorino Bar, complemented by food trucks offering pizza, burgers, and Asian finger food. The Schneeflockenfestival is organized by Lucas Distler. With its premiere in 2026, it sets a new accent in the winter event calendar of the Oberpfalz.

On January 31, 2026, the Schneeflockenfestival celebrated its premiere from 4 PM to 10 PM on the OTH campus in Weiden. The program began with saxophone and relaxed house beats (4–5 PM), followed by a piano house set at dusk (5:30–6 PM), DJs from the Munich nightlife scene (6–8:15 PM), regional artists (8:15–8:45 PM), a light show (8:45–9:15 PM), and a final groove set (9:15–10 PM). Regional providers such as Club Hashtag, Santorino Bar, and food trucks provided drinks and food.
