The Schneeflockenfestival did not premiere until 2026. No edition took place in 2025; the concept was prepared by organizer Lucas Distler for the launch in January 2026.

Before the first edition on January 31, 2026, there was no Schneeflockenfestival. 2025 was dedicated to the planning and preparation of the new winter open-air format on the OTH campus in Weiden by organizer Lucas Distler.
