Wine Festival at Pentecost
Every Pentecost, the wine town of Röttingen invites you to its traditional wine festival. Organized by the local winegrowers' association, the festival is a fixed date in the Franconian wine year and attracts wine lovers from all over the region.
The Röttinger Feuerstein
The focus is on the "Röttinger Feuerstein," the characteristic vineyard of the Röttingen vintners. The wines are served and tasted in numerous variations in the courtyards and barns of the wineries as well as in the market square. The winery museum opens its doors free of charge during the festival.

In addition to wine enjoyment, the festival offers a diverse supporting program: music by the town band, appearances by the wine princesses, a wine hike through the vineyards, a flea market, as well as face painting for children and dance performances provide entertainment throughout the entire Pentecost weekend.

Getting There
Röttingen is located in the Lower Franconian district of Würzburg in the Tauber Valley on the Romantic Road. You can reach it by car via Würzburg or Bad Mergentheim. The festival is concentrated in the market square and the vintner courtyards in the old town.
