Cruise Season Opens
The Port Party Warnemünde is more than a harbour festival — it is Mecklenburg-Vorpommern's largest cruise party and marks the start of the cruise season. The venue is the passenger quay at the Warnemünde Cruise Center, as well as the stage by the Ferris wheel. When the first large ships of the season arrive, the Mittelmole transforms into a festival mile.
Welcoming and Bidding Farewell to Ships
The focus is on the cruise ships themselves: they dock at the quay during the day and are ceremoniously escorted out to sea in the evening — farewells with a fireboat and water fountains are a firm ritual. As a long-standing partner of the Port Party, AIDA is regularly on site with programmes and advice.
Programme for the Whole Family
At the passenger quay and along the Mittelmole, you'll find regional delicacies, a holiday atmosphere, and a colourful stage programme with live music. Mythical creatures roam the grounds, face painting and glitter tattoos, creative activities, and an Open Ship on the sailing ship SKYTHIA make the day an experience for families. The event is free.
Maritime Magic on the Baltic Sea
What makes the Port Party special is the backdrop: huge cruise ships right at the quay, the view of the Strom (river channel), and the hustle and bustle at the Cruise Center. Anyone who has always wanted to watch an ocean liner depart will find the perfect opportunity here — with music, snacks, and family entertainment.
Port Party — edition 2026
On April 25 and 26, 2026, Warnemünde will celebrate the first Port Party of the year. At the passenger quay and along the Mittelmole, guests can expect a colourful programme of live music, regional delicacies, and family activities. The cruise ships AIDAdiva and AIDAmar will be welcomed, each being ceremoniously bid farewell in the evening. AIDA, as a long-standing partner, will be on site with travel experts.

Saturday, April 25, 2026
- During the day — AIDAdiva at the Warnemünde Cruise Center, programme at the passenger quay and the stage by the Ferris wheel
- 11:00 AM–6:00 PM — Open Ship on the sailing ship SKYTHIA, face painting, glitter tattoos, creative activities
- 9:00 PM — Ceremonial farewell of the AIDAdiva, which departs for a Norway cruise
Sunday, April 26, 2026
- During the day — AIDAmar at the passenger quay, stage programme and family activities
- Live music including the band »Gone Gravity«
- From 5:00 PM — Farewell of the AIDAmar, accompanied by the fireboat FLB 40-3
In addition, throughout both days: regional delicacies, holiday atmosphere, mythical creatures, and hands-on activities for the whole family.

Getting There
Take the S-Bahn directly to Warnemünde station, then a few minutes' walk over the Mittelmole to the passenger quay. By car via the B103; parking spaces are scarce on event days.
Programme Times
The day programme typically runs from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with ship farewells taking place in the evening.
