Among the outstanding dates is the multi-day Ettal Pilgrimage, a walking pilgrimage from Maria Vesperbild to Ettal, taking place from May 8 to 14, 2026, starting at 6 a.m. on May 8. The highlight of the year is the High Feast of the Assumption of Mary on August 15, 2026, with a solemn Pontifical Mass and a subsequent candlelight procession. Throughout the entire season, numerous other pilgrimages, services, and devotions take place.
