Pilgrimage Maria Vesperbild Ziemetshausen

The 2025 pilgrimage season at Maria Vesperbild extended from spring to autumn. It traditionally began with Sorrows' Friday. Throughout the months, numerous pilgrimages, services, devotions, and processions took place, including the multi-day walking pilgrimage to Ettal. The highlight was the High Feast of the Assumption of Mary on August 15, 2025, with a solemn Pontifical Mass and a subsequent candlelight procession. As in previous years, several hundred thousand pilgrims visited the Swabian pilgrimage site in the district of Günzburg, state of Bavaria – one of Bavaria's most important Marian pilgrimage sites.
