On Whitsun Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 8 p.m., the Strandhalle Mönkebude (ARISTO Der Grieche restaurant) invites you to the traditional Pfingstparty. With a DJ set, bar, and dance floor, the party marks the official start of summer on the Stettiner Haff: from Whitsun onwards, the Haff coast fills up with holiday guests, the harbor comes alive, and the beach season is open.
Location and Context
Mönkebude is located on the southern shore of the Stettiner Haff in the Amt am Stettiner Haff (district of Vorpommern-Greifswald, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern). The village was first mentioned in 1244 and is now a state-recognized health resort with a harbor, beach, and swimming facilities. The Strandhalle Mönkebude — managed by the Greek restaurant ARISTO — is a central event location in the village overlooking the Haff.
