Dahme — Baltic Sea Resort in OstseeFerienLand

Dahme is a small municipality with around 1,200 inhabitants in the Ostholstein district in the state of Schleswig-Holstein. The Baltic Sea resort, with its fine sandy beach and calm atmosphere, is part of OstseeFerienLand, a tourist association of the municipalities of Dahme, Grömitz, Kellenhusen, and Lensahn. This cooperation has been organizing joint event highlights for years, sharpening the region's tourist profile.

Sing-along Concert as a Summer Format

OstseeFerienLand sings is one of the most charming of these formats — and at the same time one of the most democratic. Instead of a classic concert setup with a performance and audience, the focus here is on the shared singing experience. Musician and entertainer Sören Schröder hosts, plays piano or guitar, and encourages those present to sing along.

Nystedplatz as a Stage

The Nystedplatz in Dahme — named after the Danish partner municipality Nysted in Lolland — is a central meeting point in the town. With benches, a small stage setup, and proximity to the beach, it offers the ideal backdrop for summer open-air formats. In good weather, in the summer evening light, and with a view of the Holstein coast, a very special atmosphere is created — communal, relaxed, almost Nordic.
