Three days of Pentecost Open Air at Nystedplatz — Tributes to the 60s and 80s on the Baltic Sea coast
The Dahmer Goldie Tage is one of the most popular open-air festivals on the Schleswig-Holstein Baltic Sea coast — and one of the few major music events that can be attended completely free of charge with the local guest card (Ostseecard). For three days, tribute bands and originals from the 60s and 80s will play on the stage at Nystedplatz, directly at the beach access.
Dahme is a Baltic Sea resort with just under 1,500 inhabitants on the Lübeck Bay, about 30 kilometers north of Heiligenhafen, in the Ostholstein district of Schleswig-Holstein. The resort thrives primarily on family tourism: fine sandy beach, shallow waters, and a manageable town center. The Goldie Tage is the big spring festival that ushers in the main season in early summer.
Instead of current pop acts, the Goldie Tage consistently focus on music that unites several generations. Tribute bands around Nena (NDW of the 80s) and Marius Müller-Westernhagen (German rock of the 70s/80s) on Saturday, the legendary The Lords with their originals from the German beat wave on Whit Sunday. On Whit Monday, a Goldtimer Show concludes the event — a mix of oldie hits and show elements, a pleasant end before the journey home.
Unlike many open-airs, the atmosphere at Nystedplatz is relaxed. There are rows of benches, beer garden tables, food stalls, and enough space for dancing. Families can move between the beach and the stage during the day; in the evening, the music takes center stage.
As is customary in Dahme, the event is free for holders of the Ostseecard (which every overnight guest receives locally). Day visitors pay a small daily fee depending on the event or gain access through separate admission regulations communicated on-site.
The 2026 edition is confirmed on the official event calendar of Dahme.com. As in previous years, the date falls on the Pentecost weekend — a traditionally popular date on the Baltic Sea coast, marking the start of the main season.
The festival is organized by the Tourismus-Service Ostseebad Dahme. The Ostseecard, which every overnight guest in Dahme receives from their accommodation, serves as the admission key.
