Summer Concerts with a View of the Baltic Sea

The Baltic Sea resort of Dahme, with just over 1,300 inhabitants in the Ostholstein district, directly on the Baltic Sea, has long been known as a family-friendly seaside resort. Nystedplatz – named after its Danish partner town Nysted – is located right on the beach promenade and serves as a year-round event venue. In 2026, the concept is expanded even further: With Ed & Taylor, an English tribute sensation from Manchester is coming to Dahme, uniting Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift on one stage – a contemporary crossover concept that covers both artists' universes with astonishing accuracy.

Free Admission – Ostseecard Required

Dahme finances its summer concerts entirely through guest contributions (Ostseecard / spa card), keeping the program free for the audience. Day visitors can purchase the Ostseecard at the beach, while holidaymakers automatically receive it with their accommodation booking. This model, common in many Baltic Sea resorts, guarantees accessible cultural programming.

More Than Dahme on Stage: Summer Highlights

The concert format is part of a series of summer events at Nystedplatz: Fire Evenings with a lantern parade and fireworks over the pier (July 23rd and August 20th, 2026), film nights, beach concerts, children's festivals. This fills the summer season in the Baltic Sea resort with a packed cultural program.

Dahme and Ostholstein

Dahme is located between Grömitz and Heiligenhafen, directly on the A1 motorway (Lensahn-Süd exit). The narrowest point of the Schleswig-Holstein Baltic Sea coast allows for easily accessible day trips to the Holstein Switzerland, the Hanseatic city of Lübeck, the Wesseln Carp Museum, and the nearby island of Fehmarn.
