The 8th Ritterspiele Lichtenau 2026 will take place from Thursday, June 4, to Sunday, June 7. Over 300 actors in historical costumes bring the Middle Ages to life on the Rezatwiesen meadows in front of Lichtenau Fortress. Getting There

Lichtenau is located about 10 km southeast of Ansbach. By car via the A 6 (Lichtenau exit). Venue: Lichtenau Fortress, Von-Heydeck-Straße 1, with the adjacent Rezatwiesen meadows.

Thursday 11 am–7 pm, Friday 1 pm–10 pm, Saturday 11 am–10 pm, Sunday 11 am–6 pm. The night tournament takes place on Friday evening.
