Petersaurach is a municipality in the district of Ansbach in the administrative region of Middle Franconia, located west of Nuremberg. As in many Franconian towns, the Kirchweih – the "Kerwa" – is a social highlight of the year here. The Petersaurach Kirchweih is organized by the Kerwabuam Petersaurach, a group of young lads who preserve traditional customs.
