Overview

In 2025, Petersaurach once again celebrated its traditional Kirchweih with beer tapping, Kerwabaum, and Franconian customs. The Kerwa, organized by the Kerwabuam, reaffirmed its status as a social highlight in the community's annual calendar.

The 2025 Petersaurach Kirchweih continued the Franconian Kerwa tradition: over several days at the end of August and beginning of September, the municipality of Petersaurach in the Ansbach district celebrated its Kirchweih festival. The Kerwabuam Petersaurach organized the beer tapping, Kerwabaum, beer service, Franconian specialties, and brass band music. The convivial gathering of the village community once again characterized the festival in 2025, ensuring the transmission of Kerwa customs to the next generation and remaining an identity-forming event in Middle Franconia.
