Overview
In 2025, the Ritterspiele Lichtenau once again attracted numerous visitors to Lichtenau Fortress in the Ansbach district. Over 300 actors, jousting tournaments, a night tournament, and a large medieval market characterized the four-day spectacle organized by Kulturschock e.V.
The Ritterspiele Lichtenau were once again among the highlights of the Franconian event calendar in 2025. In front of the walls of Lichtenau Fortress, over 300 actors in historically accurate costumes brought the Middle Ages to life.
Jousting tournaments on horseback, the atmospheric night tournament, historical battles, and a large medieval market with craftsmen and jugglers delighted families and history enthusiasts alike. As usual, the organizer was Kulturschock e.V.
