An Unusual Concept
Day Rave Dahme breaks the mold of classic open-air raves. Instead of a nocturnal festival setting with camping and wristbands, electronic music takes place here during the day — on the beach, in a relaxed atmosphere, with families as the central target group. The Baltic seaside resort of Dahme in the Ostholstein district of Schleswig-Holstein developed the format in 2023 together with the Tourism Service to refresh the community's profile, which is often perceived as a more "traditional" family seaside resort.
Day 1 — Techno Parade and Main Program
The first festival day begins with a Techno Parade that winds through Dahme's main street, bringing the sound into town via float vehicles, sound systems, and dancing guests. This is followed by a concert and DJ program on the event grounds at the north beach until the evening.
Day 2 — Children's Rave and Main Program
The second day is a special feature: it begins with a Children's Rave with DJ sets suitable for children, interactive dance activities, and non-alcoholic cocktails. Families are explicitly invited. In the afternoon and evening, the star DJs of the electronic scene take over the program.

Free Admission with Ostseecard
The entire festival is accessible free of charge for Ostseecard holders — and overnight guests in the entire Lübecker Bucht automatically receive the Ostseecard. This is a central component of Dahme's tourism strategy: Day Rave as a free added value for holidaymakers, financed by tourist tax and community sponsorship.

4th Edition
In 2026, Day Rave Dahme is establishing itself as a fixture of the seaside resort with its fourth edition. The format is expanded with a longer daytime program and additional side stages.
Program Structure
- Day 1: Techno Parade through the town, main program at the North Beach event grounds
- Day 2: Children's Rave in the morning, main program with star DJs in the afternoon and evening
- 30 years of electronic music covered
Programme Day Rave 2026
Detailed program and lineup available at dahme.de and in the Ostseebad magazine. The following structure is expected based on experience:
Wednesday, August 12th, 2026 — Day 1
- 2:00 PM — Techno Parade through Dahme's main street with float vehicle sound systems
- 3:00 PM — Arrival at the North Beach event grounds and opening of the main program
- 3:00 PM–10:00 PM — DJ sets on the main stage with electronic classics from the 90s and 2000s, combined with current sets
- 10:00 PM — End of Day 1
Thursday, August 13th, 2026 — Day 2
- 10:00 AM–12:00 PM — Children's Rave: DJ sets suitable for children, interactive dance activities, non-alcoholic cocktails, parent-child program
- 2:00 PM–10:00 PM — Main program with star DJs from the electronic scene on two stages
- 10:00 PM — Festival wind-down

Prices Day Rave 2026
Admission to the entire festival is free for Ostseecard holders. Overnight guests in Lübecker Bucht receive the card automatically from their accommodation. Day visitors without an Ostseecard pay Dahme's tourist tax. Food and drinks are charged at stand prices.
Practical information — Day Rave
Getting There
By car via the A1 (Eutin exit), then the B501 to Dahme. By train to Lensahn, then bus or taxi. In summer, there are special shuttles from the train station. Parking is available at the north beach and in town.
Admission
Free with a valid Ostseecard. Overnight guests in Lübecker Bucht receive the card automatically from their accommodation. Day visitors without an Ostseecard pay the local tourist tax.

Guesthouses, holiday apartments, and hotels in Dahme — early booking recommended, August is high season.
