The Farger Schützengesellschaft has existed since 1895 and has been a place of tradition and cultural openness for well over a century in the Farge district of Bremen, which belongs to the Blumenthal borough in the far north of Bremen. The association shapes the district's club life not only with the Easter bonfire but also with its traditional Farger Volks- und Schützenfest (folk and marksmen's festival), which attracts thousands every summer.
