Overview
In 2025, the Farger Schützengesellschaft von 1895 again lit its traditional Easter bonfire on Easter Sunday, April 20, on the Schützenplatz at Betonstraße in Bremen-Farge. At dusk, the fire blazed as families and neighbours from Bremen-Nord gathered around the flames. Bratwurst, fries, and a drinks stand provided refreshments. With free admission, the Easter bonfire remained one of the most popular spring events in the district, cherishing the centuries-old North German custom in a convivial atmosphere.
The 2025 edition continued the long tradition of the Farge Easter bonfire on Easter Sunday, April 20. On the Schützenplatz at Betonstraße, families and neighbours gathered, and the fire was lit at dusk. With bratwurst, fries, and a drinks stand, the Schützengesellschaft offered a down-to-earth, warm district festival with free admission — a firm fixture of the Easter weekend in Bremen-Nord.
