Summer Stage on the Domshof

The Domshof, right next to St. Petri Cathedral in the heart of Bremen's Old Town, is normally a dignified city square – in summer, it becomes a lively open-air meeting point. Open Space Domshof uses the square from June to August with a diverse program. You can drop by spontaneously, sit in the garden café with the Ratskeller pavilion, and experience a concert, a DJ set, or a dance evening – all under the open sky and without admission.

A Different Program Every Day

The week has a fixed rhythm with over 35 events throughout the summer:

• Tuesday: City workshop for children and dance (Salsa, Bachata, Swing alternating)
• Wednesday: Concert
• Thursday: OSD After Work with concert, followed by wine, craft beer, or other tastings, plus Pub Quiz
• Friday: DJ club and concert alternating
• Saturday: Market concert and evening concert
• Sunday: The Bremen Town Musicians play

Evening Market

A firm part of the program is the evening market with regional and organic stalls, where you can eat, drink, and usher in the evening in a relaxed atmosphere – a popular meeting point to round off the week. Open Space is organized by the OSD Bremen association; the series has established itself as a summer fixture in the event calendar of the state of Bremen since 2021.

Meeting Point for the Whole City

The central location on the Domshof makes Open Space an easily accessible place for encounters in the middle of the Hanseatic city – perfectly connected by tram and bus. Whether it's a concert evening, a children's activity, or an after-work stroll: Bremen residents, guests, and commuters naturally come together here in the summer.
