CSD Bremen (Christopher Street Day)

On Saturday, August 22, 2026, CSD Bremen will be held under the motto 'Generations of Pride – happy, visible, strong'. The demonstration starts at 12 PM at Alterwall, at the corner of Stadtbibliothek, and proceeds along the Wall towards the main train station and back into the city center. The stage and street festival will be spread across two stages: one in front of the Goethetheater with speeches and artistic performances with a clear queer focus, and another at the Wallkreuzung focusing on joint commitment to an open, accepting society. Groups, associations, and individuals can participate as walking groups or with vehicles; registration runs from May to July 12, 2026. With around 29,000 participants last year, CSD Bremen is among Germany's largest Pride events. Organized by CSD Bremen e.V.

• 12:00 PM — Assembly and start at the demonstration meeting point Alterwall (corner of Stadtbibliothek)
• Procession along the Wall to the main train station and back into the city center — a colorful, loud demonstration for visibility, diversity, and solidarity
• Participation as a walking group or with a vehicle (registration by July 12, 2026)

Stage and Street Festival

• Stage in front of the Goethetheater — political speeches and artistic performances with a queer focus
• Stage at the Wallkreuzung — program focused on commitment to an open, accepting society

Getting There

The demonstration starts at Alterwall, at the corner of the Stadtbibliothek, and proceeds along the Wall towards the main train station and back into the city center. Bremen's city center is easily accessible by bus and tram.
