About Open Air am Jahnstadion

Every July, the Open Air am Jahnstadion transforms parking lot P3 at the Regensburg Jahnstadion into an open-air stage. The concert series, supported by Power Concerts and the Jahnstadion Regensburg, brings pop, rock, and Schlager acts to a stage in the heart of the city. In 2026, Luciano, TREAM, Wincent Weiss, Maite Kelly, and ZZ Top are on the program. The central location on Franz-Josef-Strauß-Allee, good access to the A 3 motorway, and the large stadium surroundings make the event series a summer highlight in the state of Bavaria, directly in Regensburg.

Concert Series in the Shadow of the Jahnstadion

The Open Air am Jahnstadion Regensburg – also marketed under the brand name Summerstage Regensburg – is a series of summer open-air concerts held on parking lot P3 directly adjacent to the Jahnstadion. The venue is located at Franz-Josef-Strauß-Allee 22 in the city of Regensburg, Bavaria, and is named after the top football club Jahn Regensburg.

Open Air with Big City Ambitions

With the P3 area right next to the modern football stadium, a flexible open-air stage is created for a few summer days each year. The event location describes itself as "modern, individual, adaptable" and allows for classic standing-room concerts as well as seated formats. Power Concerts and the stadium management jointly curate the program.

Regensburg as a Concert City

Regensburg, home to several universities and a UNESCO World Heritage site on the Danube, has developed into an important concert city in Eastern Bavaria in recent years. With the Donau Arena, the Thurn und Taxis Palace Festival, and now the Open Air am Jahnstadion, a dense summer festival network is emerging, bringing national and international acts to the Upper Palatinate region.

Open Air am Jahnstadion — edition 2026

The Open Air am Jahnstadion Regensburg 2026 runs from July 9 to 13 and combines five concert evenings with international and German-speaking acts. Luciano, TREAM, Wincent Weiss, Maite Kelly, and ZZ Top will perform on the stage at the Jahnstadion's parking lot P3. The organizer is Power Concerts in cooperation with the Jahnstadion Regensburg.

The 2026 edition of the Open Air am Jahnstadion Regensburg, with five concert days, is the most extensive version of the summer series to date. The stage on parking lot P3 will host performances daily between July 9 and 13 – ranging from urban German rap to pop and classic blues-rock.

The opening on Thursday will be by Luciano with his Summer Open Air Tour 2026. Friday will feature TREAM, one of the most successful newcomers in the German-speaking pop scene. On Saturday, Wincent Weiss will play his hits under the open sky, followed on Sunday by Maite Kelly with her Schlager and pop program. The grand finale on Monday, July 13, will be by the Texan rock legends ZZ Top.
