Overview

In the summer of 2025, the Jahnstadion Regensburg tested an open-air format on the grandstands with the "Tribünenkonzerte" (Grandstand Concerts) – including a Bavarian dialect slam and concerts by the Regensburg Theater in July 2025. This pilot series is considered a precursor to the large-scale open-air series launched in 2026 on parking lot P3.

The 2025 season was a transitional year for the Jahnstadion Regensburg: With the Tribünenkonzerte format, the venue was systematically opened up for open-air events beyond football for the first time. In July 2025, a Bavarian dialect slam and concert evenings by the Regensburg Theater, among others, took place. The positive response to this pilot series laid the foundation for the significantly expanded Open Air am Jahnstadion / Summerstage Regensburg series starting in 2026 on the adjacent parking lot P3.
