Würzburg – Franconian Wine Capital
Würzburg is an independent city in the Bavarian administrative region of Lower Franconia and is considered the capital of Franconian wine. The historic wineries, many of them charitable foundations with centuries of tradition, shape the identity of the city on the Main River. The Night of the Open Wine Cellars makes this heritage tangible in a single evening.
