One wristband, thirty stages, all of Landshut on its feet
The Landshut KulTournacht — officially Nacht der Blauen Wunder — is one of the largest pub festivals in Southern Germany. Since the mid-2000s, Sinnflut Kultur GmbH, in cooperation with Konzertbüro Landshut, has organized the evening on which almost the entire old town becomes a stage. The concept originally comes from the USA and has also been exported by Sinnflut to Bad Tölz and Dorfen.
With an entrance wristband, visitors gain access to all approximately 30 participating pubs, bars, and cafés. Each concert starts on the hour and lasts exactly 30 minutes — the following 30 minutes are reserved for moving to the next location. Those who study the program booklet in advance can put together their own tour: a bit of singer-songwriter in a café, then a hard rock set in a pub, followed by jazz in a bar in the old town.
Landshut, the former ducal residence of the Bavarian Wittelsbachs and today the district capital of Lower Bavaria, offers a unique backdrop with its Gothic-influenced old town. Hauptstraße, Altstadt, and Neustadt are close together, making the distances between locations short. Trausnitz Castle towers over the city, and St. Martin's Church, with its 130-meter-high brick tower — the tallest brick tower in the world — forms the city's landmark. Those who have never been to Landshut before experience the city and music in a double feature on such an evening.
The program ranges from indie rock to jazz, blues, pop, and singer-songwriter, occasionally including metal or dialect music. Sinnflut Kultur selects the bands; many acts come from the southern German region, and international guests are also featured regularly. Every pub dresses up for the occasion, and Rock-Shop Landshut sells the wristbands in advance — an insider meeting point for the local music scene.
On Saturday, November 7, 2026, Sinnflut Kultur GmbH, together with Konzertbüro Landshut, will transform the old town into a comprehensive pub festival for the 21st time. Around 30 pubs, bars, and cafés between Hauptstraße, Burgsteig, and Altstadt are participating. Concerts start at 8:30 PM and run until well after midnight.
Each location will be marked with its own sign, and the program booklet will be released a few weeks before the event. Tickets are only available as wristbands, which grant entry to all participating venues — at no extra charge at the concert venue.
Program highlights and locations for 2026 will be announced in late summer on sinnflut.biz and konzertbuero-landshut.de. All styles are represented: indie rock, jazz, blues, pop, singer-songwriter, occasionally dialect and acoustic sets.
Tickets exclusively as entrance wristbands in advance at Rock-Shop Landshut, online via sinnflut.biz and konzertbuero-landshut.de. Last year, the price was around 20 to 25 EUR per wristband. Remaining tickets at the box office in front of the participating venues.
Landshut train station is 800 m from the old town, reachable in ten minutes on foot. Public transport brings visitors directly to the doorstep. By car, take the A 92 (Munich-Deggendorf) to the Landshut-Mitte exit.
Entrance wristbands are available in advance at Rock-Shop Landshut (Innere Münchener Straße 56, Phone 0871/45132), online via sinnflut.biz or konzertbuero-landshut.de.
