Three days of Volksfest, live music, and fireworks on the Großer Müllroser See in Schlaubetal
Müllrose is located in the middle of the Schlaubetal Nature Park, about 25 kilometers southwest of Frankfurt (Oder). The recreation park on the Großer Müllroser See is the setting for the Seezauber—a spacious area with a lakeside promenade, festival meadow, and stage areas right on the water. Traditionally, the entire region gathers here for a weekend at the end of July/beginning of August for the big summer festival with a lively atmosphere.
Over three days, live bands, dance groups, and DJs perform on several stages by the lake. The musical spectrum ranges from Schlager and pop to rock and cover bands, as well as electronic dance music at the Schlager party in the evening. In addition, there are shows by regional clubs, dance performances, and appearances by music students from the region.
The set highlight of the festival is the fireworks display over the Großer Müllroser See on Saturday evening—a spectacle that draws thousands of onlookers to the lake shores every year. Reflective light effects over the water are the hallmark of the Seezauber and the reason why many visit the tradition year after year.
The festival grounds feature carousels, rides, and stalls, as well as food, beer, and sweet stands. For children, there are bouncy castles, trampolines, pony rides, and puppet shows. The Müllrose sailing club offers taster sessions with sailing lessons, and salsa dance classes are also regularly part of the weekend program.
The third day of the festival is rounded off by the traditional flea market in the neighboring Schützenpark—on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., free participation, offering everything from children's clothing and toys to household items. The town sees the flea market as a family event and a neighborhood gathering.
The Müllroser Seezauber 2026 takes place from July 31 to August 2, 2026, on the Großer Müllroser See. The town of Müllrose is the organizer; the recreation park with its lakeside promenade and festival meadow provides the backdrop for three days of Volksfest with several stages, a funfair, stalls, children's activities, and nautical program points.
On the stages, the town announces, among others, the Dark Electro band Alienare as headliner for 2026, as well as New Way To Escape, Melodin&Saiten, and Jonathan. In addition, there will be performances by regional artists, dance groups from the association SchlaubeGetümmel e.V., and a live set by the guitar duo Simon and Tobias Tulenz. DJ Tommi will be playing on the lakeside promenade.
The detailed hourly program will be continuously published on seezauber-muellrose.de.
