Helenesee — one of Brandenburg's largest man-made lakes

Helenesee near Frankfurt (Oder) is one of the large man-made lakes formed after the end of lignite mining — around 250 hectares of water surface, suitable for swimming, with sandy beaches and camping infrastructure. The Helenesee Leisure Park on the west bank operates camping, bungalow rentals, water sports, and an event program ranging from Spring Festival, Yoga Festival, Helene Beach Open Air, and Bucht der Träumer to the season finale.

Seasons End — the conclusion of the season

With "Seasons End", the last event of the year is celebrated on October 11, 2026. The concept combines two classics: an Oldtimer Meet (with US-Cars) and a flea market — a format that is common in many Brandenburg leisure parks for the season finale. The combination attracts two distinct target groups: lovers of historic vehicles and bargain hunters browsing the flea market Sunday.

Classic Cars and US-Cars by the Lake

Oldtimer meets in Brandenburg have a tradition — the park, with its meadows and lake scenery, offers an attractive setting for exhibitors and visitors. Vehicles from the 1950s to 1980s are expected, classic sedans as well as sports cars, plus a dedicated section for US-Cars (American Muscle Cars, classic convertibles, pickups).

Flea Market Sunday

In parallel to the Oldtimer Meet, a large flea market takes place — the park's regular "Flea Market Sunday", held several times a year. Private individuals with household items, professional dealers, and antique collectors are expected.

Helenesee is located in the southern part of Frankfurt (Oder), near the Lossow district. It is accessible by train to Frankfurt (Oder) main station, followed by bus/shuttle. The park is a popular weekend destination from Berlin (approx. 90 km) — especially in summer for swimming and festival weekends.
