Five days of Techno, Tech-House and Psytrance at Helenesee — consciously without a lineup, with ten stages in a temporary utopia
The Helenesee near Frankfurt (Oder), a lake created in 1958 in a former open-cast mine, is one of the largest lakes in the state of Brandenburg with its approximately 250 hectares. Its west bank in the Lossow district has been home to Bucht der Träumer since 2017 — one of the most remarkable electronic festivals in Central Germany. The 10th anniversary edition will take place from August 13th to 17th, 2026.
The most striking trademark of the Bucht: The organizers do NOT publish the lineup. "Why no lineup? Maybe you're looking for it in vain." The idea behind it is programmatic — the experience and the community should take precedence over the artist names. Those who come, come for the place, the atmosphere, the water, the forests, and the encounters, not for a specific DJ set. On the dance floors, a strict photo and video ban applies — a policy intended to protect anonymity, privacy, and undisturbed rave culture.
The grounds are divided into two theme worlds. Umbria (West) is the dance world: six stages with different characters in a forest setting — Atlantis, Unterholz, Waldtraut, Schlupfloch, Neustockland, and Porto Loco. Each floor has its own sound and design concept, from psychedelic trance to hard techno. Lumina (East) is the contemplative world: workshops, circus tent, sauna area, labyrinth installation — a space for learning, breathing, and finding oneself between the nights.
Bucht der Träumer relies on an intensive care structure: a 24-hour awareness team, Psycare crew for psychological support, on-site medical personnel, and quiet zones. The festival consciously positions itself as a safer and consent-based space — an attitude that is also reflected in the no-photo policy and the extensive welcome program.
The 10th edition marks the Bucht's status as a fixture in the international underground scene. With its approximately 13,000 guests from all over Europe, it is one of the largest boutique festivals between Berlin and the Polish border. The festival takes place in the state of Brandenburg, in the district of Frankfurt (Oder), directly on the border with the German-Polish twin city of Frankfurt (Oder)/Słubice — a geographical location that deliberately makes the audience international.
The 2026 edition is the tenth iteration of the festival and a deliberate highlight of the Bucht narrative. For five days, the ten stages in Umbria and Lumina, the lake, the forests, and the workshops take center stage. The lineup traditionally remains unannounced — the Bucht relies on its audience's trust in the curated sound experience.
Camping is included in the ticket. The awareness team, Psycare, and medical services are staffed around the clock. A strict photo and video ban applies on the dance floors.
The lineup is deliberately NOT published — part of the festival concept.
