Helenesee — the "Helene Lake" of the Mark Brandenburg

The Helenesee is located south of Frankfurt (Oder) and is a clear-water lake created by post-mining renaturation. With a water depth of up to 60 meters and crystal-clear water, it is considered one of Brandenburg's most attractive swimming lakes. The Helene-See leisure and camping park offers bungalows, chalets, campsites, as well as restaurants and a beach — and once a year, the grounds are transformed into a Pentecost music festival for the Spring Festival.

Rummels Bucht is part of a festival series at Helenesee specializing in electronic and alternative music combined with camping and lake idyll. The Spring Festival marks the season opener in 2026, coinciding with Pentecost, and is designed for multi-day stays — many guests arrive with tents or book the festival-specific accommodation packages.
