Four Days on the Helenesee

The Helenesee near Frankfurt (Oder) is a 250-hectare former open-cast mine lake – and it's precisely here, on the sandy beach between forest and water, that the Skalar Festival sets up its stages every spring. From June 11th to 14th, 2026, you'll experience the third edition of the festival, which has established itself as a fixture in Brandenburg's festival landscape in just a few years.

Skalar boasts a broad musical spectrum: Techno, House, Bounce, Trance form the backbone, complemented by Indie Pop, Singer-Songwriter, and electronic live acts. Confirmed headliners and acts for the 2026 edition include:

Skalar sees itself as an experience festival: in addition to concerts and DJ sets, there are:

• Food trucks and bars with a diverse selection

Community Festival with GoFundMe

The organizers emphasize the community aspect and actively seek volunteers, performers, crew, and vendors. A GoFundMe campaign also supports the realization of the growing festival.

Getting There

Frankfurt (Oder) is reachable from Berlin Ostbahnhof by regional express RE1 in 60 minutes. Shuttle services are available from Frankfurt (Oder) main station to the festival grounds on the Helenesee. By car: A12 Berlin–Frankfurt (Oder), exit Frankfurt-Mitte.
