One Night Through the Entire Old Town

The Bad Saulgau Music Night is one of Upper Swabia's oldest multi-venue music festivals. Since the early 2000s, the bars, pubs, and clubs in Saulgau's city center have opened their doors for live music once a year. With one wristband, you get access to all eleven venues — a concept known from major music nights, but here in a small town with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants, which is part of its charm.

23rd Edition on April 18, 2026

The 2026 edition is the 23rd iteration and will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, starting at 8:30 PM. The bands change every year, but the genre spectrum remains broad: Rock, Pop, Hard Rock, R&B, Blues, Country, Reggae, Schlager. Each of the eleven venues chooses 'its' band, leading to surprising diversity — from acoustic sets in a wine bar to hard rock cover bands in a club.

The Concept: One Wristband, Eleven Stages

With a single admission wristband, you can access all eleven participating venues. This makes the Music Night a kind of live music hopping — from bar to bar, from style to style. Those who settle in one pub can spend the whole evening there; those who want to see all eleven bands can pace themselves and discover places they would otherwise never enter.

Bad Saulgau — Upper Swabia's Cultural Heart

Bad Saulgau is a small town with just under 18,000 inhabitants in the Sigmaringen district, in the state of Baden-Württemberg, and is considered the cultural center of Upper Swabia. Its compact old town, charming squares, and high density of bars and pubs make it the ideal stage for a music night. You can reach Saulgau by train via the Ulm–Friedrichshafen line.
