A Festival for the Neighborhood
Sieglitzhof is a residential district in eastern Erlangen. Once a year, the neighborhood around St. Theresia Church transforms into a large festival grounds. The Sieglitzhof Bürgerfest, organized by the Bürgerverein Erlangen-Sieglitzhof e.V., already looks back on over 30 editions.
Associations and Initiatives
The festival thrives on the commitment of local associations, initiatives, and the church community. Among others, a honey and bee stand, ADFC, a book stall, ecumenical knitting circle, kindergarten support association, scouts, local breweries, and environmental initiatives are represented – a cross-section of the neighborhood's civic life.
Program for the Whole Family
For children, there is face painting, a bouncy castle, and hands-on activities. Food and drinks with grilled items, cakes, and beverages, as well as live music – for example, from a youth band playing rock ballads – complete the program. The Bürgerfest is often celebrated together with "St. Theresia in Aktion".

The Sieglitzhof Bürgerfest is more than just a neighborhood festival: it strengthens cohesion in the area and makes the voluntary commitment of its citizens visible.
Bürgerfest Sieglitzhof — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Sieglitzhof Bürgerfest is planned for June 21, 2026. The organizer is the Bürgerverein Erlangen-Sieglitzhof e.V., and the festival takes place around St. Theresia Church.
As in previous years, associations, initiatives, and the church community will provide a colorful program with stalls, children's activities, food, and live music. The detailed program will be published by the Bürgerverein before the festival.

- To round off the festival: live music by a youth band (rock ballads with drums, bass, guitar, violin, and vocals)

The Bürgerverein regularly seeks volunteers for setup and dismantling, serving drinks, the grill stand, and the cake counter.
