The Festival of a Small Municipality
With around 2,500 inhabitants, Buckenhof is one of the smallest municipalities in Bavaria and is located directly east of Erlangen in the Erlangen-Höchstadt district. Since Buckenhof – unlike many neighboring towns – does not have its own traditional Kirchweih (church fair), the community festival is the central communal festival of the year.
