Since the 1970s, the Open-Air Museum for Folklore Schwerin-Mueß has showcased historic farm complexes from all over Mecklenburg-Vorpommern on a spacious site on the southern shore of Lake Schwerin — farmhouses, barns, workshops, and mills.
