Thursday is the opening party, Friday the legendary 90s night, Saturday the rock night, and Sunday the family and sports day with the Maisel's FunRun. The 36th Maisel's Weissbierfest will take place from May 7 to 10, 2026, on the brewery grounds of Gebr. Maisel in Bayreuth. Four days featuring an opening party, 90s night, rock night, and a family/sports day with the 21st Maisel's FunRun — with free admission and five Maisel's Weisse varieties.

The 36th edition of Maisel's Weissbierfest runs from Thursday, May 7, to Sunday, May 10, 2026. The festival is open Thursdays and Fridays from 6 PM, Saturdays from 4 PM, and Sundays from 9 AM. Admission is free. Each day has its own theme: Thursday is the Opening Party, Friday is "Back to the 90s", Saturday is Rock Night, and Sunday is Family and Sports Day with the 21st Maisel's FunRun and a children's program starting at 10 AM. Five Maisel's Weisse varieties and cocktails will be served; card payment will be the only option at the beer token counter in 2026.

Getting There

The festival grounds of the Gebr. Maisel brewery are located at Hindenburgstraße 9 in Bayreuth, within walking distance of the city center. By train to Bayreuth Hauptbahnhof, then a few minutes' walk. By car via the A 9 (exit Bayreuth-Süd/Nord); parking available in the city center.

Admission is free. Only card payment is accepted at the beer token counter; food stands accept cash and card.
